Again this year Fellowship Church is sponsoring a neighborhood clean-up event of the Elmcrest Creek area (Bloordale Park North, where the creek runs under Burnhamthorpe Road). This is a great way to get to work together as part of the Earth Day Clean Toronto Together event. We will gather from 12.00 noon – 1.00 pm on Sunday, April 21st. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided (or bring your own); please wear proper footwear. You may want to bring a lunch to eat before you head to the park. We will gather behind the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot at 666 Burnhamthorpe Rd. at the northeast entrance to the park.
Quick Recap: Thanks to the 26 volunteers plus Frank from the City of Toronto, who picked up nearly 40 bags of garbage plus recyclables and returnables! The ducks are very happy!
