Special Offering for Sunday February 22nd

This week’s special offering is for Canadian Justice Ministries. The social justice ministry in the Christian Reformed Church developed a response to world hunger reports adopted by Synod in 1979 and 1993. A world hunger and social justice coordinator was appointed in 1994, and the Office of Social Justice and Hunger Action became established in 2000. A similar advocacy ministry in Canada has operated as the Committee for Contact with the Government in social-justice advocacy since 1968. For more details, click here.
