This week's special offering is for Good Food Market: St. Philip's Lutheran Church. What is the Good Food Market? The Good Food Market provides local produce sold at cost. It is a community initiative. Weekly from mid-June through the end of August, the Good Food Market connects with its neighbours. This market initiative was introduced in the summer of 2016 and is now an annual summer market for its neighbours!  The Good Food Market has also introduced 2 other market times: during Advent and Lent.

In 2023 St. Philip's Lutheran Church introduced the Winter Market, hosted in the community room of a local apartment building - bringing fresh produce to neighbours at a time when inflation made access more challenging.

The Good Food Market operates in partnership with FoodShare Toronto - a non-profit organization with a mission to provide fresh food at affordable prices to everyone in the GTA.  In 2021 the Good Food Market partnered with local growers and offered even more than produce.
