The book of Exodus is the story of leaving, liberation, and love. The exodus itself is the most significant event of the Old Testament. Its great theme also underlies much of the thought of the New Testament. Exodus is the story of God calling a people together to discover who they are, who their God is, and how they can be the people that God called them to be. It is our story, too.
