As Canadians, we need to keep learning and educating ourselves about our shared history with First Nations people, including how reconciliation can continue to occur. Listening to indigenous leaders is an important part of our learning. With that in mind, we are pleased to host this educational event.
Adrian Jacobs Ganosono, Senior Leader for Indigenous Justice and Reconciliation in the Christian Reformed Church, will speak on , "Indigenous Perspectives on Reconciliation." Adrian is of the Turtle Clan, Cayuga Nation of the Six Nations Haudenosaunee Confederacy at Grand River Territory, Ontario. Adrian is the father of five and grandfather of two grandsons and one granddaughter. He lives on the Dish with One Spoon territory. He is a well-known educator in the areas of Indigenous history, culture and contemporary issues. He networks with Indigenous leaders, knowledge keepers, and elders in Canada, the US, and internationally.
